The Young Millionaires Program is a seasonal entrepreneurship program available to youth aged 9 to 16 from June – September.\u00a0 We provide Prince Edward Island youth the opportunity to explore entrepreneurship by offering youth training, mentoring and ongoing support that will assist them to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.<\/span><\/p>\n Youth discover and develop essential\u00a0 skills through a series of workshops lessons and activities on basic business fundamentals such as; creativity and innovation,\u00a0 idea development, marketing, budget creation, record keeping and public speaking.<\/span><\/p>\n Applicants are approved based on completion of their regional workshops, business idea, business plan, support, and enthusiasm. Once applicants complete the workshops and submit a simple business plan, a micro grant is issued directly to the applicant for the purpose of beginning their business.
