Our Lennox Island region is unique in so many ways.

This region approaches the Young Millionaires Program a little differently, allowing Indigenous youth the opportunity to explore the traditional cultural crafts of their people over a 10 week course.

The youth who choose to attend these workshops learn about themselves as well as their history.  They create beautiful beadwork, intricate quill designs, tanned hide spirit pouches with traditional Mi’kmaw herbs and offerings inside to keep the owner safe from harm.

Each of the products created within these workshops are original designs and traditional Mi’kmaw products.  These are available for purchase through the Lennox Island Cultural Center located at 8 Eagle Feather Trail in beautiful Lennox Island.
